Culture and fun meet at Allegroitalia Ostuni Agritrulli.
On Sunday 23 September, during the European Year of Cultural Heritage and the European Heritage Days 2018, Allegroitalia Hotel & Condo organizes a cultural meeting with Sandra Lucente, professor of mathematics at the University of Bari. During the event we will talk about numbers and hidden forms in the architectural composition of the Trulli, the historic Apulian buildings, UNESCO World Heritage Site. This theme has already been addressed by the writer in her text “Mathematical Itineraries in Puglia”, a diary with many thrilling stories that tell legends and suggestions of one of the most beautiful regions in the world. The meeting will be held in the evocative setting of Allegroitalia Ostuni Agritrulli, condotel constituted by 10 stone trulli surrounded by a lush cherry and 200 trees and olive trees: the perfect location for this kind of meeting.
It’s not the first time that Allegroitalia Ostuni Agritrulli hosts local events. For many years here has been organized a course to learn how to prepare the traditional tomato sauce. In addition, Allegroitalia will organize other cultural events in the winter, continuing to spread the knowledge of traditions and mysteries of the place.
There will be also a welcome greeting by Gianfranco Ciola, director of the GAL Alto Salento 2020.
